It is generally recommended to ventilate the bathroom after use and to wipe off any moisture and water spilled from the sink onto the cabinets and the mirror. Furniture material is moisture resistant but not waterproof, so the long-term exposure to high moisture and water can cause swelling of the wood around the edges and corrosion of the mirror. From the above, it follows that the swelling of the furniture can only occur due to inadequate maintenance, which is not covered under warranty.
Basin maintenance
The basins are made of cast marble which should be cleaned with liquid detergents, water and a cloth, without the use of abrasives or rough cloths/sponges. We recommend using white vinegar or limescale removers to clear limescale. If the basin loses its shine due to everyday use, it can be restored using non-wax or silicone-free polishing paste.
Maintenance of wooden parts
Wooden furniture parts are cleaned with a damp cloth and liquid cleaners, without the use of abrasives or rough cloths/sponges. We recommend using the Quando Aquaclean agents for active protection and maintenance of bathroom furniture. Do not use organic solvents and thinners, strong disinfectants, concentrated acids, hydrogen peroxide, nitro varnish, universal adhesives for cleaning. The product is intended for use in closed ventilated rooms at temperatures of 17 to 24°C and a relative humidity of between 45 and 70%. Since the furniture material is moisture resistant (not waterproof), it should not be exposed to water spills.
Mirrors
Mirrors are cleaned with liquid non-abrasive cleaning agents and a soft cloth. We recommend using Aquaclean acryl+glass cleaner. You can use newspaper instead of a soft cloth to treat mirrors to an extra special gleam. To prevent corrosion of the mirrors after bathing/showering, be sure to ventilate the room and wipe the mirrors to remove water/moisture from the mirror surface. Mirrors are intended for use in closed ventilated rooms at temperatures of 17 to 24°C and a relative humidity of between 45 and 70%.
